How to run a tournament, step by step

The checklist

   Add the teams. (Steps below.)

   Make groups, if you want them. On Standings, tap Groups. See Points table and groups.

   Add helpers. See Co-organisers.

   Schedule the matches. (Steps below.)

   Assign a scorer to each match. See How to assign a scorer.

   Get each team's Playing XI. See Playing XI.

   Score on match day. See Toss and openers.

   Check the points table. See Points table and NRR.

   Make the knockout bracket. See Knockout bracket.

    Declare the champion. (Steps below.)

Add the teams

   Open your tournament. Tap the Teams tab.

   Tap Add teams. The Add teams sheet opens with your own teams.

   Tap each team to tick it, for example "Shorisa XI" and "Padma Strikers". To find another team, type its name in the search box.

   Tap Add 2 teams (the number changes). Close the sheet.

Schedule a match

1. 1

   Tap the Matches tab. Tap Schedule match at the bottom. The New Match form opens.

   Tap Team A and choose "Shorisa XI". Tap Team B and choose "Padma Strikers".

   Tap Date and choose the day. Fill in Time and Venue if you know them.

4. 4

   Check that the switch says Public. Tap Save.

   You see Match created. Tap Assign scorer, or tap Done to do it later.

Declare the champion

1. 1

   Tap the Manage tab. Under CHAMPION, tap Declare a champion.

2. 2

   Tap the winning team. Tap Save champion.
