Score a match
How to assign a scorer
Invite another player to score your match. The scorer then accepts the invite on their own phone.
Who can do this
Only the person who created the match can invite. The invited player accepts.
Before you start
A match you created. See How to create a match.
The scorer has a CricoScore account.
Internet on both phones.
Invite a scorer
In the bottom bar, tap My Cricket.
Tap Fixtures I created.
Tap the match. The Edit Match form opens.
Tap Assign Scorer ("Invite a player to score this match").
In the search box, type the player's username, name, email or phone. Type at least 2 letters.
Tap Invite next to the right player. You see Sent — "Scorer request sent successfully".
Look under SENT REQUESTS. Each invite shows Pending, Accepted or Rejected.
You can also open Assign Scorer in other places:
the Match created box, by tapping Assign scorer;
the toss screen, under MORE OPTIONS;
the person icon on a match card in My matches.
Cancel an invite
Open Assign Scorer for the match.
Under SENT REQUESTS, tap the red ✕ next to a Pending invite.
Accept an invite (for the scorer)
If the app is open, you see Scorer Request — "Rahim Uddin wants you to score …". Tap View.
App closed? Open My Cricket, then tap Scorer requests under SCORE.
The Requests screen opens on the Scorer tab. Find the invite.
Tap Accept. You see Accepted — "You can now score this match!".
The match is now in My matches, under To score. Don't want to score it? Tap Decline.
Common problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| "No players found" | Check the spelling. Try the phone number or email instead. The scorer needs an account first. |
| "You can only send requests for matches you created" | Only the match creator can invite. Ask that person. |
| "Player is already a scorer for this match" | Nothing to do. That player can already score it. |
| I don't see the invite | Pull down on the Scorer tab to refresh. Check you signed in with the right account. |
