Score a match

How to do the toss and choose the openers

Record the toss. Then choose the two opening batters and the first bowler, and start the match.

Who can do this

Before you start

The match is in your My matches list. See How to use My matches.
Internet is best. The toss also works without internet. See How to score without internet.

Open the match

The Toss screen opens. At the top you see 3 steps: Toss, Playing XI, Openers.

Under WHO WON THE TOSS?, tap the team that won.
Under ELECTED TO, tap Bat First or Field First. A line shows, like "SHO won toss · Shorisa XI will bat".
You can tap Select Playing XI now, or later. See How to choose the Playing XI.

Tap Striker (on strike). The Select Striker list opens. Tap the batter who faces the first ball.
The Select Non-Striker list opens by itself. Tap the other batter.
The Select Opening Bowler list opens. Tap the bowler.
Tap Start Innings →. The scoring screen opens.

A player is not in the list? Type the name in the search box. Then tap Add "…" to XI.

You chose the wrong team? You can fix it before Start Innings.

On Setup 1st Innings, tap ↺ Undo toss at the bottom.
You see Change the toss?. Tap Change toss. The Toss screen opens again, and the openers are cleared.
Record the toss again.

Problem	What to do
Confirm Toss → is grey	Choose the team and Bat First or Field First.
Start Innings → is grey	Choose the striker, the non-striker and the opening bowler.
"Toss is locked"	The innings has started, so the toss can't change now.
No players in the list	Type a name and tap Add "…" to XI. Or add players to the team first.
