How to record a wicket
Record any kind of out and choose the next batter. Fix a wicket you tapped by mistake.
Who can do this
The person who created the match.
A scorer they invited.
The tournament's co-organisers.
Before you start
You are on the scoring screen. Both batters and the bowler are chosen. See How to score each ball.
Record a wicket
Tap the red OUT key. Wicket — Dismissal Details opens.
Under DISMISSAL TYPE, tap how the batter was out:
Bowled
Caught
LBW
Run Out
Stumped
Not in the list? Tap More. You then also see Hit Wicket, Timed Out, Mankad, Retired Out and Retired Hurt.
Caught or stumped? You can tap Select fielder… and choose the fielder. You can skip this.
Under NEXT BATSMAN, tap Select next batter….
Tap the new batter's name. The wicket is recorded now. You see Wicket recorded — Caught at the bottom.
Run out
Tap OUT, then tap Run Out.
Under WHO IS OUT?, tap the batter who is out: Striker or Non-striker.
Under OUT ON WHICH RUN?, tap the run they were going for. Out going for the 2nd run? Tap 2. The app adds the 1 run they finished.
If you like, choose the fielder under RUN OUT BY — FIELDER (OPTIONAL).
Tap Select next batter…, then the new batter's name.
A wicket on a wide or a no ball
Wide: tap WD, then Wicket on this wide (stumped, hit wicket, run out). You can choose only Stumped, Hit Wicket or Run Out.
No ball: tap NB, then Run out on this no-ball. Run Out is already chosen.
The wide or no ball (1 run) still counts. The ball is bowled again. Full steps: Wicket on a wide or no ball.
Undo a wicket at once
Look at the bottom of the screen. Wicket recorded — … shows with an Undo button for 5 seconds.
Tap Undo. The wicket and that ball are taken back.

Common problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| OUT is grey | Choose both batters and the bowler. At a new over, confirm who is on strike. Tap the red bar above the keys. |
| The next batter is not in the list | Type the name in the Search or type new name… box. Then tap Add "name" to XI. |
| I chose the wrong next batter | Tap Undo at the bottom (5 seconds), or the Undo key. Then record the wicket again. |
| On a free hit, the app still lets me choose Bowled | On a free hit only a run out counts. Choose Run Out, or record the ball as runs. |
| I can't tap Record Wicket for a run out | Tap a number under OUT ON WHICH RUN? first. |
