Score a match
How to score without internet
Score a whole match with no internet. Then send it to CricoScore when you are back online.
Who can do this
The person who created the match.
A scorer they invited.
The tournament's co-organisers.
Before you start
You are signed in to the app.
You have internet before the match, for a minute.
Before the match (with internet)
Open the My Cricket tab. Under SCORE, tap My matches. The app saves your matches to score on the phone.
Tap the match once. Wait until the scoring screen opens. Now this match works offline too.
Score with no internet
Open the match and score as usual. At the top, under the team names, you see Offline.
Score every ball, wicket, Undo and the result. All of it is saved on your phone.
Send the score
The app sends it by itself when the phone has internet again. To send it now:
On the scoring screen, tap Sync now at the top.
Or open My matches. Matches not sent yet have an orange Not sent tag. Tap Send now in the orange bar.
When it is sent, the top of the scoring screen says Saved. The Not sent tag goes away.
If two people changed the match: Scoring clash
Scoring clash shows when someone else changed the match while you were offline. You have two choices:
Keep mine — your offline scoring replaces theirs. Choose this if you scored the real match on this phone.
Use server's version — your offline scoring on this phone is deleted. Choose this if the other person scored the match properly.
Common problems

| "Not available offline" — "This match is not saved on this phone yet. Open it once while online." | Get internet. Open the match once, then go offline again. |
| The top says Not synced in red | Tap it to try again. |
| Not synced with "Could not save on this phone — storage is full" | Your phone is full. Delete some photos or videos. Then tap Not synced again. |
| Not sent stays after I have internet | Open My matches and tap Send now. Stay signed in and keep the app. |
| Will Settings → Clear Cache delete my score? | No. "Unsynced scoring is kept." |
Some old saved copies of matches have nothing to send. The app removes them by itself. Scoring that is not sent yet is never removed.
