How to change tournament settings, or delete a tournament
Change the details and show the tournament on the public list. See it as a fan, or delete it.
Who can do this
Change settings: the tournament owner or a Manager.
Delete: only the tournament owner.
Before you start
Your phone has internet.
Open the tournament: My Cricket → My tournaments → tap the tournament.
Change the settings
Tap the Manage tab. The SETTINGS card is at the top.
Change what you need: name, dates, Format, overs, venue, Pitch, Ball or Rain rule (DLS).
Tap Save changes. You see Saved.
Show it on the public list
In SETTINGS, turn on List publicly. The text says "Anyone can find this tournament on the browse list."
Tap Save changes.
Change the status
Under Status, tap Upcoming, Ongoing, Completed or Cancelled.
Tap Save changes.
See it as a fan
Tap the eye icon at the top right (View as fan). The header says Viewing as a fan. The Manage tab goes away.
Tap the eye icon again to go back to the organiser view.
Delete the tournament
On the Manage tab, scroll to the bottom, to DANGER ZONE.
Tap Delete tournament.
Read the message "Delete tournament?". Tap Delete.
Common problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| No changes — "Nothing to save yet." | You didn't change anything. Change a setting, then save. |
| "A match in this tournament is currently live. Stop it before deleting." | Finish or stop the live match first. Then delete. |
| I don't see Delete tournament | Only the owner sees it. Managers can't delete. |
| I don't see the Manage tab | You are a fan or a Scorer helper. Or View as fan is on: tap the eye icon. |
