Tournaments and teams
How to create a tournament
Make a new tournament with its name, dates and match rules.
Who can do this
Anyone with an account. You become the tournament owner. There is nothing to turn on first.
Before you start
You are signed in. Your phone has internet.
Know the name, the dates and the overs per match.
Create the tournament
In the bottom bar, tap My Cricket.
Under ORGANIZE, tap New tournament. The New Tournament screen opens.
Tap Add logo to choose a logo. You can skip this.
In the Tournament name box, type the name, for example "Demo Cup 2026".
Tap Start date and choose the first day. Tap End date and choose the last day.
Under Format, tap one: T20, T10, Six-a-side, ODI, 50 Overs or Custom. The app fills in Match overs and Max overs / bowler for you.
Check Players per side (11 for most matches). Under Impact players per team, tap Off, 1, 2 or 3.
Type the Default venue, for example "Mirpur, Dhaka". Under Pitch and Ball, tap your choices.
Want a knockout round after the group matches? Turn on Knockout stage. You can change this later.
Tap Create tournament. The tournament opens on its Manage tab.
Set the Rain rule (DLS)
The rain rule is not on the create form. Set it after you create the tournament.
On the tournament's Manage tab, scroll to Rain rule (DLS).
Under G50 (average full-innings score), keep 200 (default) for local cricket. Choose 245 only for top-level cricket.
Leave Minimum overs for a result empty to use the ICC rule. Or type your own number of overs.
Tap Save changes. You see Saved.
