How to add or remove team admins
Give another person the right to help you manage your team.
Who can do this
Only a team owner can add or remove admins. (The owner is the person who created the team, or a squad player marked Owner.)
An admin can leave by themselves.
Before you start
You are signed in. Your phone has internet.
The new admin has a CricoScore account.
You know their username, phone number or email.
Open the Team admins screen
Open your team's page. For example: Home ⋮ menu → Browse Teams → search "Shorisa XI" → tap it.
On the Overview tab, tap Manage Admins. The Team admins screen opens.
Add an admin
Under ADD ADMIN, tap the box "@handle, phone or email".
Type their username with @, for example @rahimuddin. You can also type a phone number or an email.
Tap the + button next to the box. The person now shows under ADMINS (1).
Remove an admin, or leave
Under ADMINS, find the person. Tap Remove next to them.
Tap Remove in the "Remove admin?" message. They lose access at once.
Are you the admin and want to stop? Tap Leave next to your own name. Then tap Leave again.
Common problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| I don't see Manage Admins | Only owners and admins see it. Ask the team owner to add you. |
| "Only the team owner can add or remove admins." | You are an admin, not an owner. Ask the owner. |
| Couldn't add admin | Check the username, phone or email. The person must have a CricoScore account. |
