Getting started
How to create a CricoScore account
Make your free account. Then you can score matches, follow teams and post in the feed.
Who can do this
Everyone.
Before you start
The CricoScore app is on your phone (see How to install and update the app).
Your phone has internet.
You have an email address or a phone number.
Steps
Open the Sign Up form
Open the CricoScore app.
In the bottom bar, tap Sign In (at the far right).
Tap the Sign In button in the middle of the screen.
At the top, tap Sign up. The screen now says "Create your free account".
Fill in the form
In the FULL NAME box, type your name.
Check the COUNTRY box. The app fills it in for you. Tap it if you need to change it.
In the EMAIL OR PHONE box, type your email or your phone number.
In the PASSWORD box, type a password. It must have at least 6 characters. Tap the eye icon to see what you typed.
Tap Create Account.
Claim your old matches
You may now see Claim your matches. It shows old matches that have your name. If no matches have your name, the app goes straight to the Home screen. You are done.
Tap each match that is you. Then tap Add 2 to my profile (the number changes). If none are you, tap None are me — skip.
Done! The last tab in the bottom bar now says Profile. You are signed in.
Common problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| "An account with this email already exists" or "An account with this phone already exists" | You already have an account. Tap Sign in at the top. Forgot the password? See How to reset your password. |
| "Use at least 6 characters" | Your password is too short. Type a longer one. |
| "Enter your full name" | The FULL NAME box is empty. Type your name. |
| "Signup failed" | Check your internet, then tap Create Account again. |
| I don't see Continue with Google | Google and Facebook sign-in are turned off for now. Fill in the form instead. |
| My name is written in Bangla, and my username is only numbers | That is normal for now. You can change your username. See How to change your username. |
