How to install and update the CricoScore app
Get the free CricoScore app from Google Play, and keep it up to date.
Who can do this
Everyone with an Android phone.
Before you start
An Android phone with Android 7 or newer.
Internet.
The Play Store app on your phone, signed in with your Google account.
There is no iPhone app yet. On an iPhone, use the website cricoscore.app.
Install the app
Open the Play Store app on your phone.
Tap the search box at the top. Type CricoScore.
Tap CricoScore in the list.
Tap Install. Wait until it finishes.
Tap Open. The app opens on the Home screen.
You can watch scores without an account. To score matches, create an account.
When the app asks you to update
The app checks Google Play each time you open it. When a new version is out, a Google Play screen opens over the app.
Tap Update.
Wait. Google Play downloads the new version. The app opens again by itself.
If you go back instead, the app opens as normal. It asks again the next time you open it.
Update from the Play Store yourself
Open the Play Store app.
Search for CricoScore and open it.
Tap Update. If you only see Open, you already have the newest version.
Small fixes that come by themselves
Sometimes CricoScore sends a small fix without Google Play. The app downloads it by itself while it is open with internet. You get the fix the next time you open the app.
Close the app fully. Open your recent apps and swipe CricoScore away.
Open CricoScore again. The fix is now on your phone.
Common problems

| Play Store says "Your device isn't compatible with this version" | Your phone has Android older than 7. Use the website cricoscore.app instead. |
| The app shows Device not supported | Your phone has Android older than 7.0. Use the website cricoscore.app in your browser. |
| I can't find CricoScore on my iPhone | There is no iPhone app yet. Use the website cricoscore.app. |
| The update screen comes back every time | Tap Update and let it finish. Keep the internet on until the app opens again. |
| The update stops because the phone is full | Delete some old videos or apps. Then tap Update again. |
| A friend has a fix that I don't have | Open the app with internet for a minute. Close it fully. Then open it again. |
