How to delete your account
Delete your CricoScore account and your personal data for ever.
Who can do this
Anyone with a CricoScore account, for their own account only.
Before you start
You are signed in.
Your phone has internet.
You know your username (the name after @ on your profile).
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted:
Your profile: name, email, phone, photo and bio.
Your posts, comments, likes, saved posts and follows.
Your hire requests and chats.
Your stream history and Facebook links.
Your notifications.
Kept, without your name:
Scorecards of matches you played or scored. Your name shows as Deleted player.
Security records for up to 90 days.
Totals that can't be linked to you.
Steps
In the bottom bar, tap Profile. Under MORE, tap Settings.
Scroll to the bottom. Under DANGER ZONE, tap Delete Account.
Read the red box This cannot be undone. Read the lists under WHAT GETS DELETED and WHAT WE KEEP (ANONYMIZED).
In the box under TYPE "RAHIMUDDIN" TO CONFIRM, type your username. Capital letters don't matter.
If you like, type why you are leaving under REASON (OPTIONAL).
Tap Permanently delete my account.
A box asks Delete account permanently? Tap Delete.
The app signs you out and opens the Sign In screen.
Changed your mind on the screen? Tap Cancel and go back.
Common problems
| Problem | What to do |

| Permanently delete my account is grey | The username you typed doesn't match. Check it on My profile. |
| "Could not delete account" | Check your internet. Try again. |
| "This account has been deleted." when I sign in | The account is deleted. Make a new account. See How to create a CricoScore account. |
| No handle on file — contact support | Email cricosoft@gmail.com. See How to get help. |
| I only want fewer notifications | Don't delete. Change the switches. See How to change notifications and app settings. |
