Quick answer

My match says Abandoned

No score was saved for 24 hours, so CricoScore marked the match abandoned. This stops old matches staying "live" for ever.

What happens

  1. After 18 hours with no score, the scorers and the match creator get a notification. It says Is this match still going?

  2. After 24 hours with no score, the match becomes Abandoned. The notification says Match marked abandoned. The result reads "Abandoned: no score updates for 24 hours".

Got the 18-hour warning?

Score the next ball, or save the result. The match stays live. See How to end the innings and save the result.

The match was still being played

A new score brings it back to live.

  1. If you created the match: tap My Cricket → Fixtures I created.

  2. Tap the match. Then tap Set Playing XI. The scoring screen opens.

  3. Score the next ball, or save the result. The match is live again.

Scored it offline? Send the score. That also brings it back. See How to score without internet.
