How to show your sponsors' ads on the live video
Make ads for your tournament's sponsors. Then play them on the live video.
Who can do this
The tournament owner, or a co-organiser with the manager role. A scorer can't. See Co-organisers.
Before you start
A tournament. Ads work only in tournament matches.
The sponsor's picture or short video on your phone.
Make an ad
Open the tournament. Tap the Manage tab.
Under STREAM ADS, tap Your ads. Stream ads opens.
Tap Create ad.
Under TYPE, tap Video ad, Pop-up or L-band.
In the Name box, type a name, like "Rahim Sports — 20% off". Only you and staff see it.
Tap Choose image (or Choose video). Choose the file.
For a pop-up or an L-band, go to WHERE AND HOW LONG. Choose the corner, size and time.
Tap Create ad. The ad is on the list, with its switch on.
Play an ad during the match
Open Control stream for the live match. See How to control the stream.
Under ADS, tap Video ad, Pop-up or L-band.
The next ad of that type plays. Your ads take turns with the sponsor ads.
Common problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Owners and managers only | Ask the tournament owner to make you a manager. |
| "Only the tournament owner or a manager can run ads" | Same: a scorer can't play ads. |
| Too large | Use a smaller file. A picture can be up to 5 MB. A video can be up to 25 MB. |
| Create ad is grey | Type a name and choose a file first. Or you have 30 ads: delete one. |
